remembering.

i have a test over this stuff today. i love history. except tests. my mind always goes blank. with any test. it's something that i've always struggled with. prayers would be amazing! when i see the test results and [hope] they are not terrifying.. i'll know it was only through God. He's pretty much the best!! :) have a marvelous day all!

1. i have a risen Saviour whom i personally know

3. i have a nose ..even if it malfunctions every once in a while ;)

4. i have a dad and mom who love each other and don't fight

8. i can read

9. there is fruit on the counter

10. i had the choice to choose what i could wear this morning

I love these words. Maybe because they were so true!! :) I love summer!! Winter? Eh, not so much! But what about what lies between those seasons? I didn't think I'd ever hear myself saying this..Really. I didn't.  .. but.. IthinkIamgoingtoloveautumn! I always laughed at those who enjoyed it. Crazy people! It's brown and cold! What's so great about that?! I am always quite sad when summer leaves..it means winter is coming. Again. But this year my opinions are changing. Yes, winter is still coming and I am still not looking forward to it.. but there is a most lovely time of year before then. FALL! There are so many wonderful things about it! I think about the only reason I didn't like it was because of the coming winter. We all know it's going to come sometime, and that sometime is usually sooner than I desire. --but this year I want to embrace it. Autumn that is--.hoodies. .good company. {around} .campfires. .gorgeous leaves. .hot cider. .blue sky and starry nights. -- Yes please! Cold and brown? More like bonfire weather and little weeds just begging to be photographed!! This year I want to take the time to cherish it.. the varying shades of orange..yellow..red..brown..and green! It's breathtaking! Especially when God decides to make those colours pop a little extra with the vibrant blue sky and cottontail clouds! Thank you God for summer..and for the change that comes afterward every year!! It's wonderful. beautiful. marvelous. Why did I not take time to stop and enjoy it?! Winter will come, yes, but I want to enjoy the colour and smells of autumn while they last! I'm thinking it shall be quite lovely! :)

now we know we should say Jesus Christ, but if we were really honest, if we really looked at how we use our time, what would you have to say? to be completely and openly honest.

where to we spend out free time? where do we invest our energy and love? where are we placing our heart?

do we spend a majority of our time on something mentioned above? besides Jesus Christ?

or.

are we using our time to dig into the Scriptures? swimming ever deeper into the heart of a loving, all-knowing God? the One God that really matters.

are we reaching out to others, placing them and their needs before ours? serving God through how we live our everyday lives? is God our number one priority? or are we more focused on our family and work? have the other 'things' come before God? would we rather spend our time and energy on our hobbies? or on our relationship with our heavenly Father? do you have a relationship with Him?

our human nature would much rather sit on our duffs watching a movie or playing computer games than sharing Gods love story with others.

where are our priorities?

reaching out? --or reaching in?

where are we most comfortable? talking with others about football or the latest movie, or encouraging them with their walk with the Saviour?

now don't get me wrong, many of the 'things' in our life are important, and should be -- family, work, etc, but are they more important to us than our relationship with Jesus Christ? are we taking time out of out schedules for what will really last forever?

would/are we willing to give up everything for God? do you think you would be able to live with nothing but God? relying wholly on Him, and Him alone?

Orphaned soon after birth and hand-fed by humans, they are uber friendly!! Any takers? Pwese?! We actually are only needing to give two away.. Jacques and Jasmine. Zero and Gracie have a home. :)

if you knew you only had one day left to live...what one thing would you want most to do? why? what if you don't even have an hour to live? why not start living life to your fullest right now? --there may never be a tomorrow..

becoming reality.

once upon a time a girl had a really cool older brother [and still does! ;)]. this older brother had a canon powershot S2. and that camera was amazing. in her eyes anyways. that's when the dream began..the dream to become a photographer. but then my really cool older brother sold the camera! i was devastated! how in the world was i supposed to further my *ahem* skills without a camera?! but God already knew.. soon after the horrid event my dad bought a canon 5D for the business..freeing the canon rebel to stay at home. happily in the hands of, you guessed it..me. :) fast forward a few years and a lot of learning.. people are now pushing me to make the dream come true. i personally don't think i'm that great. i worry that people won't like my pictures. that they won't turn out. i'll order the wrong thing. maybe someday i'll be amazing. people come to me anyways, asking me to take their pictures. i smile and gladly agree. i get all jittery and excited about the upcoming event. then it arrives and my mind freezes..why, oh why can't i think of a creative pose? or something to say that would make them laugh? if it weren't for God, no photo i take would turn out. i don't know how it happens, but somehow He uses me to capture the moment, hopefully bringing joy to a soul. if only for a bit. but it made them smile and i thank my Father. maybe someday i'll be able to use this budding talent to bring souls to Him. only He knows and only He can advance my skill.

My dear friend Tanya recently asked me to take some of her senior pictures. Me?! But why me? I'm not that good of a photographer!..and I hardly have any practice taking people pictures! Yet alone ones that are for graduation!! To say the least I was a wee bit nervous! okay a LOT bit nervous! But i survived and so did she. :) Here are the results! Enjoy!

Wow. I update lots! Or not. This is only my second post and my first one with writing! I'm still trying to figure out how everything works..Maybe eventually it will all make sense! Maybe. :)

I was going to put some of my brighter, more cheery pictures on, but couldn't seem to find them! :( I'm still needing to get all my pictures sorted through, and in the process of getting my own computer and gathering photos from all their whereabouts, I'm not sure whats where anymore! Guess that's another task I need to finish! It just seems to get pushed to the bottom of my list, alas!
