"Home is where the heart is."

if home is where the heart is, where is your home?

what do you most love?

*sports-football, basketball
*hobbies-photography, music
*people/relationships
*Jesus Christ
*travel
*school/work
*politics
*clothing-how we look on the outside
*other

now we know we should say Jesus Christ, but if we were really honest, if we really looked at how we use our time, what would you have to say? to be completely and openly honest.

where to we spend out free time? where do we invest our energy and love? where are we placing our heart?

do we spend a majority of our time on something mentioned above? besides Jesus Christ?

or.

are we using our time to dig into the Scriptures? swimming ever deeper into the heart of a loving, all-knowing God? the One God that really matters.

are we reaching out to others, placing them and their needs before ours? serving God through how we live our everyday lives? is God our number one priority? or are we more focused on our family and work? have the other 'things' come before God? would we rather spend our time and energy on our hobbies? or on our relationship with our heavenly Father? do you have a relationship with Him?

our human nature would much rather sit on our duffs watching a movie or playing computer games than sharing Gods love story with others.

where are our priorities?

reaching out? --or reaching in?

where are we most comfortable? talking with others about football or the latest movie, or encouraging them with their walk with the Saviour?

now don't get me wrong, many of the 'things' in our life are important, and should be -- family, work, etc, but are they more important to us than our relationship with Jesus Christ? are we taking time out of out schedules for what will really last forever?

would/are we willing to give up everything for God? do you think you would be able to live with nothing but God? relying wholly on Him, and Him alone?

is your home {heart} in God's loving hands?

in need of a home

Orphaned soon after birth and hand-fed by humans, they are uber friendly!! Any takers? Pwese?! We actually are only needing to give two away.. Jacques and Jasmine. Zero and Gracie have a home. :)

Zero!! Moi favourite!

Jasmine..peeking through the flower stems.

Zero again.. I think he was trying to figure out what the camera was.

Gracie. Stretching after a lovely nap in the summer shade.

Jacques playing with the flowers.. guess it's a good thing Mom wasn't there! ;)

Little blue eyes.

Did I mention that they are almost eight weeks old? So stop by and pick em up anytime!

Julian is training them in well!

Fluffy fur and constant purr? [notice the rhyme] Who can deny them?

Jacques and Zero resting after tumbling in the dirt.

Gracie is lame.. so she just has to sit and watch the others play. It's rather sad since she seems to be more extroverted.

Jasmine basking in the sunshine.

Food anyone?

She looks so smug.

What a lazy cat....

...but that's just what they do!
If anyone is seriously interested let me know!! I'm sure they will love you!

two powerful words...

When we fail…
When we faulter…
When we quit…
When we feel like we’re not enough…
When life is falling apart…
When we break down…
When we can’t fight another day…
When we utterly and completely fail…
…there are two words which provide the ability to go on: But God.

But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ— by grace you have been saved..     —Ephesians 2:4-5
